Cavaliers center Shaquille O’Neal, 38, had surgery on his right thumb by specialist Dr. Thomas Graham at the National Hand Center in Baltimore Monday morning. O’Neal injured his thumb Thursday at Boston during a blocked shot by Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis. He is expected to wear a splint the next two weeks, and them begin rehab.
